Exploring Risograph: art print exhibition July-November 2020

Experience some of the breadth of possibilities of this unique and slightly quirky printing technique...

With an inky finish similar to screen printing yet housed in a digital machine, the risograph offers a wonderful array of colours and blends, and no two prints from it are identical.
The environmentally friendly inks are plant based. Prints are made two colours at a time, usually with either two or four colours.

The printer and curator, Dave, has collaborated with artists to explore ways to print their work. A range of paper stocks have been used, to suit each print.

The images in the exhibition cover various styles from more traditional portraits and still life, to pop art, comic, and photography.

Risograph prints will be among the selection of beautiful things available in the gallery ongoing. View more here
