Art on Tees: T-shirt exhibition
An exploration of art on fabrics.
As a first step into the fray we want to explore how to increase the exposure of art in a way that makes it more personal. What is more personal than showing it in your favourite spaces? Well wearing it of course!
For this exhibition we decided to challenge the idea that art doesn't need to be on flat surfaces such as paper or canvas. It doesn't need to hang on walls or be a sedintary statement. Art can hang off your body, travel with you and be shared with friends and family. We found artists who produced works of art that were self-encompassing with a pop-art style. There's no need to stop there though as this was simply the first collection and we're continuously adding to the collection. Click here to find more tees
