Designer and artist Rachel Tan is a former Kadimah parent. She has also taught art to many students at Kadimah and given countless volunteer hours to school artistic endeavours. Rachel has also kindly allowed us to reproduce two artworks to help raise funds for Kadimah.

This badge is part of the mural that Rachel has contributed to our school. Many parents and others will have memories of watching and participating with Rachel in the creation of the beautiful mural on the gym wall at Kadimah, which blends Jewish symbolism with images of Aotearoa. It was with enormous sadness we realised that after the school moves we will leave this treasure behind, so its image makes for a special momento of Kadimah’s 50th.
