A portrait of Frantishek Kupka, painted to a photograph of the artist snapped circa 1928. I love his art. There was a self portrait in yellow he did that got engraved in my head since the days I started art history at the Academy some 12 years ago. With this one I tried to escape the purples and blues I usually go with and give this a stained yellowing, earth green pre second world war ambiance.
