There is a completely different portrait under this that took a 180 degree turn. This one is a statement on color and simplicity. I wanted to try and evoke emotion and attitude with just 3 or 4 colors max. The gaze and it's content are all that matter, thus this head is enveloped in darkness of pure Phthalo blue.
