Bonco

Bonco is interested in the way geometric abstraction and variations of the grid can function as a “symbolist window” and the possibilities it poses around transcendence.By playing with perspective and other visual “tricks”he hopes to create a better world or Boncosmos.

Bonco is a fulltime artist, based in Auckland with an MFA from Auckland University. He predominantly paints in oil on linen and his work has been exhibited and collected in New Zealand and overseas.
